After reading the Sports Illustrated article about Pierce a couple weeks ago, I was finally motivated to start working out some prints in honor of some of my local sports heroes. This is a mockup of my tribute to Pierce who has stuck with the Celtics and the city of Boston much longer than others would have. The fact that he has established his mature leadership over one of the most storied franchises of the NBA has cemented his legacy in this town. He deserves a retired number at the new Garden and the respect of basketball fans everywhere.
